Function – This filter medium is an organic filter resin used to remove waste produced by fish to make the water in your aquarium clear.
Physical adsorption – It is spherical and has a netted surface with microscopic pores, giving it a contact surface area many times larger than most spherical resins. Soluble and insoluble impurities can be removed from water.
Can be reused – its color changes from light yellow to brown or even darker as it absorbs impurities in water. However, you can make a saturated brine by pouring mineral salts into clean water, and then soak the aquarium filter medium until the impurities separate out.
Usage steps: 1. Open the package and take out the mesh bag. 2. Rinse aquarium filter material with clean water. 3. Put the filter material into the filter tank (where there is continuous water flow, be careful not to put it directly into the aquarium).
